As a co-founder and current Chairman of GOP of Island County, David brings a unique experience to the organization. Having served more than 40 years as a professional political operative and consultant, some of his responsibilities include corporate spokesman for Puget Sound Power & Light Company, Director of Communications and Press Secretary for the Washington State Republican, Director of Communications and Press Secretary for the Republican Party of Florida, Consultant to the Republican National Committee, Director of Communications, Press Secretary, and Chief Protocol Officer for the Florida Department of State.
In addition, David served as Campaign Manager and Consultant to numerous political campaigns from Congressional races to local county and state legislative races in both Washington State and Florida.

Mr. Rebman is a retired Lieutenant Colonel United States Army. He is been involved in numerous Republican campaigns included the campaigns for State Senator Ron Muzzall, former State Representative Greg Gilday and Oak Harbor Councilwoman Barbara Armes. In addition, he is a Scout for League of Our Own and has recruited candidates to run for public offices.
Mr. Rebman is a docent and actively involved with Friends of Meerkerk Gardens on Whidbey Island. He is also a Golden Baton member of the Saratoga Orchestra and is a supporter of the Langley soup kitchen at the Island Church of Whidbey.
